OPENED on 4 July 2019 the new Carlisle Lake District Airport which will open up the region to so many more potential visitors. London will now be within an hour of our beautiful region which features TWO World Hertiage Sites together with the South of Scotland and the Pennine Mountains. Passengers can arrive into Dublin and transfer to the area with ease.
