Welsh Highlands, Anglesey and Puffin Island - places available

A tour which takes in everything that this part of Wales has to offer. A chance to go to the roof top of Wales, to visit a fantasy Castle, a Cruise from Anglesey to the Nature Reserve of Puffin Island and taking in the sandy beaches and villages along the Welsh Coastline. This is a tour of unique diversity.
A morning departure sees us heading South via the Motorway network with coffee stops en route to Chester and time for lunch. This Roman City has much to offer the visitor, take a stroll along the City Walls, visit the Cathedral, take in a River Cruise or just browse around the many interesting shops. After lunch we continue along the North Wales coast arriving at our Hotel where we have a welcoming tea and Bara Brith awaiting us on arrival. Dinner is served in the Hotel tonight.
After breakfast we head along the coast to Llandudno where you will have plenty of free time to take in the sights. In the afternoon we have an included visit to the fantasy of Penrhyn Castle a Neo Norman Castle crammed with fascinating items including an outstanding collection of paintings and a railway museum. There are 60 acres of grounds with exotic trees, plants and a walled gardens to enjoy. We return to our hotel for Dinner tonight.
After breakfast we take the 4.7 miles rail journey from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon the highest peak in Wales and a place of legend. The 3506ft summit dominates the landscape and at the top there is a Restaurant and visitor centre. After we return to the valley we visit the nearby National Slate Museum where we travel back to Victorian times to see the workshops, split a slate and hear of the hardships of quarry life. We return to our Hotel for tonight's Dinner.
Following breakfast we first visit Caernarfon where the town is dominated by Edward 1 Castle which has World Heritage status. We have time to browse around before we journey over the Menai Straits and onto Anglesey making a stop at Beamaris where the Castle built in 1295 offers the chance of a photo stop before we join our cruise to Puffin Island. here you can see many species of birds and wildlife and also during the one and a half hour cruise regular sightings of Puffins, Grey Seals and Dolphins take place. We return to our Hotel for our final Dinner tonight.
We depart after breakfast to begin the journey back to Cumbria. We will visit the Marble Church at Bodellwyddan and have a coffee stop en route to Liverpool where we will have time for lunch and to explore this great City. We leave mid afternoon for the journey back to Cumbria arriving home early evening.
