South West Ireland, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry

A tour to the Jewel of Ireland's South West we are based in Kilarney giving us easy access to discover the delights of this popular region. From the lofty heights of the mountains of Magillycuddy Reeks to the Wild Atlantic Coastline and the sparkling Lochs this tour has much to offer. We also offer Jaunting Cars, a Lake Cruise and a Mansion Visit together with local tours.
We depart Cumbria early morning as we use the motorway network passing Chester and on into North Wales we make comfort stops en route. We have a further short stop in Llanfair P.G where you can have your photograph taken against the sin of the longest place name in the UK. We have a short drive across the Isle of Anglesey to join our early afternoon Irish Sea ferry sailing to Dublin. Upon arrival we make our way across country to Portlaoise and our overnight hotel. We arrive mid evening with Dinner served upon arrival.
After breakfast we continue our journey across Ireland stopping off in Limerick with some free time before we stop in the quaint village of Adaire with its thatched cottages, there is time to look around. We then make the short trip onto Killlarney arriving at our hotel late afternoon. Dinner is served in the hotel tonight.
A full day tour follows breakfast as we follow the Ring of Kerry this 100 mile round trip visits local attractions, follows the shoreline in many places and has stunning views both inland and out to sea. We have coffee, lunch and comfort stops en route. We return via Queens View looking over the Three Lakes in the National Park. Dinner is served in the hotel
Following breakfast we have a Jaunting Cars ride through the National Park to Ross Castle where we have included 1 hour Lake Cruise. We rejoin our coach for the short transfer to Muckross House where after lunch we have an included entry and guided tour of the Mansion with time to look around the grounds. Dinner is served in the hotel tonight.
A day at leisure in Killarney, take a stroll into the National Park which borders onto the town or experience the hustle and bustle of the town itself. the magnificent St Mary's Cathedral is well worth a visit. Dinner is served in the hotel tonight
Following breakfast we begin our journey back across Ireland. However we have time to venture around the Dingle Peninsula with its stunning views around Slea Head. We have lunch in Dingle before we continue to Portlaoise for our overnight hotel where Dinner is served.
After breakfast we head into Dublin where we have free time until we board our Stena Line ferry crossing to Holyhead. We arrive back in Wales early evening before we return to Cumbria arriving back later at night.
We have two Nights overnight accommodation in The Midlands Park Hotel in Porlaoise.
