RUTLAND WATER and MIDDLE ENGLAND
We explore this sometimes forgotten about area of England, yet there is so much to see and do in this region. We have an included boat cruise, a Castle visit, a Garden visit and also the chance to see one of England's finest Elizabethan Homes.
We leave Cumbria and head across the Pennines to Richmond for a coffee stop. We then travel on to York for lunch before we complete our journey to our hotel where Dinner is served.
Today we head to Oakham the County town of Rutland where we can visit the Castle (free entry) which has the best in tact Norman Great Hall in the country We then head to Barnsdale Gardens for an included visit where we have time to explore We journey back to our hotel via quaint villages Dinner in the hotel tonight.
Today we head firstly to Stamford for a short visit before we have an included entry to Burghley House one of England's finest Elizabethan homes. Mid afternoon we have a cruise on Rutland Water where we have afternoon Tea on board. We return to our hotel for Dinner.
Alas our stay is over and we begin our journey North making a coffee stop en route to Harrogate for a lunch with free time to look around the town. We continue back to Cumbria arriving early evening.
