Norfolk Royal Retreat


The nations interest in the Royal Family has grown over recent years and
here we have a chance to look deeper into the life of the Royal
family. On this magical tour we visit Sandringham House, enjoy a
nostalgic railway journey and take a Norfolk Broads cruise.

Our itinerary

Day One
We leave Cumbria and head South making a Coffee stop en route in Lincoln where
have enough time for lunch and a look around the city centre before
we head to our hotel. Dinner is served in the hotel tonight.

Day Two
A full day today as we firstly have a guided tour of Norwich including a visit
to the Colmans Mustard Shop this tour is both by coach and on foot.
In the afternoon we visit Sandringham House the Queen's Royal retreat
which was built by Edward V11 you can view the House and Carriage
Museum as well as walk through the grounds and possibly visit the
Royal Chapel. Dinner in the hotel.

Day Three
We explore the beautiful broads today and take a journey on the Bure Valley
Steam Railway followed by a leisurely broads cruise. In the afternoon
we visit great Yarmouth one of England's best seaside towns. We
return to our hotel for Dinner.

Day Four
Alas our stay is over and we begin our journey North making a coffee stop en
route to Harrogate for a late lunch with free time to look around the
town. We continue back to Cumbria arriving early evening.

The 4 star 107 bedroomed Mercure Norwich which is noted for its excellent service
and facilities. There are leisure facilities on site.
