NORFOLK A ROYAL RETREAT
The nations interest in the Royal Family has grown over the years and so here on this tour of Norfolk we can experience the variety that the area offers together with the chance to visit The Sandringham Estate.
Add to this a Rail journey and a Boat Cruise and t truly enjoyable short break tour awaits.
We leave Cumbria crossing the Pennines and heading through the Vale Of York making a coffee stop en route to Lincoln where we have lunch and a little free time. Our journey continues around The Wash and onto our
hotel in Norwich where Dinner is served.
We have a morning guided tour of Norwich by coach and on foot and then in the afternoon we travel to The Sandringham Estate where we able to see the House take note of the Dining Table setting and also the Museum
where a lot of Royal Vehicles are kept. Stroll around the garden or walk to Sandringham Church where the Royal Family have their Christmas Service. We return to the hotel for Dinner.
Today we experience the beautiful Norfolk Broads and begin with a train on the Bure Valley Railway before we transfer to Wroxham Bridge where we undertake a leisurely cruise on The Broads. We journey onto Great
Yarmouth where we spend time at leisure in this seaside town. We return to our hotel for Dinner.
We have a coffee stop en route to Newark where we have time for lunch and to explore. Our journey continues North with a comfort stop en route arriving back home late afternoon.
The Mercure hotel Norwich lies at the northern end of the City and has a good reputation for its friendly staff and good food. All bedroom have en suite facilities and are of an excellent standard.
