Donegal Bay and the Atlantic Coast

A tour based in the heart of Donegal town with visits to Glenveagh National Park, The Atlantic Coast and Ireland's oldest pottery. A tour that gives you an insight to a way of life both past and present coupled together with delightful scenery and legendary hospitality.
We leave Cumbria in the morning and head to Holyhead for our 14.00 afternoon Stena Line sailing to Dublin making comfort stops en route. We head through Dublin and onto Trim for our overnight stay. Dinner in the hotel.
After breakfast we continue across Ireland making our way through County Meath home to the High Kings of Ireland throughout the 12th Century. We then call at Enniskillen. We venture onto visit Belleek Pottery for an included afternoon visit before arriving at our hotel in Donegal where Dinner is served.
A day at leisure in Donegal perhaps visit the ruined Abbey for the Four Masters, or perhaps visit the Castle, spend time on a boat trip around the bay or try on some tweeds at Maggie's. Dinner in the hotel tonight.
Today we have a full day tour of the area including the Atlantic Coast and Glenveagh National Park with its romantic lakeside Castle and gardens. This is an area of proud cultural tradition together withstrong musical links artists such as Clannard, Enya, Westlife andDaniel O'Donnell having links to the region. We return to the hotel for Dinner.
We leave Donegal and make our way towards our overnight hotel situated justoutside Belfast. We travel via Londonderry and Loch Neagh to County Antrim making comfort stops en route. Dinner in the hotel.
Today after a leisurly breakfast we make the short journey to Belfast forthe 11.30 Stena Line Superferry to Cairnryan. We journey across Southern Scotland making a comfort stop en route before arriving back in Cumbria early evening.
