BIRMINGHAM MILITARY TATTOO

An alternative to the Edinburgh Tattoo is now the fast growing
Birmingham Military Tattoo which is held indoors at the NEC and this
spectacular event coupled with time in Birmingham makes this a very
interesting tour.

Our itinerary

Day One
We leave Cumbria travelling South we stop for coffee before we visit The
National Memorial Arboretum where you have time for lunch and to look
around. We continue on to our hotel arriving late afternoon (B and B
basis). You can dine in the hotel or chose to dine at the nearby
Public House.

Day Two
We travel to Warwick in the morning with time to look around before
moving onto Startford on Avon in the afternoon where you can enjoy
lunch and take in all the attractions of this famous town. We return
to the hotel late afternoon to freshen up before we head to the NEC
for the Tattoo.

Day Three
We begin our journey North with a morning visit to the centre of
Birmingham. We leave early afternoon and with a coffee stop en route
arrive home early evening.

Our hotel
The Best Western Plus Manor Hotel, Meriden is a most imposing building,
it offers fine dining or the traditional bar. The public areas are
well furnished reflecting the grandeur of the building. There are 112
stylish and well appointed bedrooms which are full of charm.
