ANGUS SECRET COASTLINE AND CASTLE
A tour which looks back into Scotland's past taking in some fine places to visit including Glamis Castle. We also venture along the coastline of North east Scotland as wee look for hidden gems of villages and
towns. We also visit the Gordon Highlanders museum and explore its 200 year old history.
A morning departure sees us head firstly to Moffat for a coffee stop before we head in to Edinburgh for lunch and time to explore. We continue our journey North with a tea stop in St Andrews before we arrive at our hotel in Montrose where Dinner is served.
Firstly we head to Brechin with its ancient Cathedral and 11thCentury Tower. Brechin museum is worth a visit with over 2000 years of history on display. In the afternoon we head across to Arbroathfamous for its Arbroath Smokies. Arbroath is also famous for the Scottish declaration signed in 1320. We return along the coastline to
our hotel for Dinner.
Today we head North to the Granite City of Aberdeen with its beautiful architecture and cultural gems. Aberdeen has over 8 miles of beaches and of course the port is famous for both its fishing and the base for the boats and riggs delivering North Sea Oil and Gas. Later we visit the Gordon Highlanders Museum taking in the story of the
regiment described as The Finest in the World. Our return journey takes in more coastline including the pretty town of Stonehaven. Dinner in the hotel

the formal gardens. Later we visit Dundee with an included visit to the V and A Museum in its futuristic home. We return to our hotel for Dinner.
We begin out journey South driving via Perth to the Baxters Visitor Centre for coffee before we head into Stirling for lunch and time to explore. Our journey continues with a comfort stop before we arrive home late afternoon
