Mon 09 July 2018
The tour that has something for everyone whether you like Trains, Boats or Ales this visit to our nearby neighbours in Yorkshire offers a variety of interests. A tour that has a steam train ride and a visit to a National Railway Museum, has a canal boat cruise, visits a brewery takes in a Stately Home and visits both City and Town, what more could you want.
A morning departure from Cumbria sees us travel along the A66 to Richmond where we have time for Coffee and a look around. We continue on to Harrogate for lunch again with time to spend exploring the town. We arrive at our hotel on the outskirts of Leeds to be greeted with complimentary Tea/Coffee and Biscuits. In the afternoon we return to Leeds where you have free time in the City to continue with the culture at one of the many museums or simly just shop. The coach will take us back to the hotel where Dinner is served.
Following breakfast we head through wonderful countryside to join the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway and our trip we head to Skipton for lunch followed by a 1 hour canal boat cruise with commentary and complimentary Tea/Coffee and Biscuits. We have a little extra time in Skipton before returning to our hotel for Dinner.
